christmas list 2001-12-31 - 1:51 p.m.

Got back from Maryland, meeting my future sister-in-law and her family. They seem really cool. Nothing too eventful, really. Drove around D.C. and saw national monuments... Lincoln Memorial, Korean War Memorial, Vietnam Memorial... I had to wonder how many of those names on the Vietnam wall my dad knew, or perhaps even saw die. I don't think I would be the same person after living through something like that.

So, I had a good Christmas. Other than my mom rushing me through opening gifts with Chris. I wish I could have spent more time with him, instead of 'Hey, thanks for the stuff. Bye.' So here's my list of junk from Xmas:

From Chris,
- 2 Living Dead Dolls :) (Lou Sapphire and Deadbra Ann)
- All 4 Buffy Script Books
- Scooby Blanket
- Chronicles of Narnia (all books in one)
- Basketball Diaries DVD
- Lost Boys DVD
- Scooby Playstation game
- Scooby Monopoly
- Remote Controlled Mystery Machine
- Harry Potter stocking with misc. goodies, which are as follows...
- Hello Kitty mini lunch tin w/ candy
- Scooby Doo mini lunch tin w/ candy
- Chocolate Orange
- Clodhopper's (good candy)
- Reese's in a candy cane shaped tube
- Cinnamon Fire Jolly Ranchers
- Dr. Suess car filled with Gummy Bears
- Beetlejuice cards
- Mystery Machine shaped coin purse, with candy watches

His mom got me a kickass sweater and an awesome gunmetal necklace.

My mom (so far, she's slow...) got me a matching scarf, hat, and gloves, which I actually put into her shopping cart and told her she was getting for me. Black, SOFT sweater type material. Great stuff. And she wouldn't let me pay her back for the leather jacket I just got. So that's from her as well. She says there's more, but she needs to wrap it.... knowing her, I'll either never see it, or I'll get it for next year.

My brother got me a Long Beach Tshirt and Redken Glass (hair stuff).

My Dad and Step-Mom:
- Scooby slipper socks
- Scooby pajamas (not with feet LOL!!... shorts and a tank top)
- Scooby 'huggable' plush
- Mini Sally Snowglobe (from Nightmare Before Christmas)
- Se7en DVD
- Snow White DVD
- Scooby Doo Original Mysteries DVD
- French Vanilla Pear Body Mist and Lotion
- Scooby Doo Tin
- Odd Camoflauge belt (well, the buckle part is odd... I'll still wear it. LOL)
- $50 gift certificate for Target (And $20 from her Mom and Step-dad)

Oh, and my mom's friend got me Scooby Slipper socks (different than the pair from my step-mom), Zyrofoam hehe, Chapstick, and a cute sweatshirt.

So I got lots of nice stuff for Christmas! :-D And my birthday is coming up in less than a month. Woohoo!!!! And, uh..... didya notice all the Scooby stuff? Yeah... I like Scooby. I've got an ever growing collection. Just bought a couple more comics last night, in fact. I believe it's a psychological obsession... but I'll get into that later.
