"98.6 over here... Body temperature." November 21, 2003 - 4:58 a.m.

While randomly looking up stuff on IMDB while making out my Christmas wishlist, I glanced at the 'Upcoming DVDs' list on the left and actually gasped when I saw the last movie listed.

'Where the Day Takes You'

This movie I would easily consider one of my top five favorites. And the odd part is, it wasn't too long ago that I remember doing a search for it, to see when and if it would be released on DVD. At that time, I found no information at all.

But there it was. And Amazon lists it for this coming Tuesday. And twenty bucks. Bare-boned, absolutely nothing on it... not even a trailer or cast filmographies... but I still have to get it.

I already have it on video, and I don't see it being something that will sell out. In fact, I already imagine that it won't take long for it to wind up on the cheap rack. Considering that it's movie-only and a somewhat unheard of movie at that, I'm probably right. So I'm going to do the smart and frugal thing, and wait to get it.

Besides, my obsession for Buffy and all things Whedon easily wins when comparing the two. And as of December 9th, I'll be very behind on my Whedon boxsets.

Bastard people... taunting me with the round, shiny things.
