WB Highlights February 13, 2003 - 3:51 a.m.

Super duper groovy episode of Angel on tonight. Including a superb cliff hanger. We've got an annoying three weeks to wait for any further answers. The ending was quite sudden, as is typical with earlier Whedon shows, but I've noticed a lacking of that lately. It was nice to see it again. I love the feeling of intrigue that it creates. All the unanswered questions running rampant. It's so lovely. As well as completely annoying.

I always thought there was something up with Cordy... since she's been back that is. I could never quite point it out, but it was there. Something felt off. Or maybe I was simply reading to much into things.

Anyhow, I'm all kinds of excited for the next episode. It'll answer so many new questions as well as bringing Faith back into the mix. Three more weeks... then Faith will be in a total of eight episodes, with the two shows combined. Happy Days.

In the meantime, there is going to be two weeks of filler on the WB. The week after next they're going to air The Lone Ranger. A remake, apparently. Today's Hollywood is all about remakes and sequels. Getting kinda tiresome, although they've had several successes with this treatment. Successes in my eyes, as well as their pockets. I've not yet decided if I'm going to watch this. But I prolly will. I'm a WB whore, afterall.

And next week. Birds of Prey two hour event.

Little bit of confusion there. The show was canned. Any and all websites listed each and every episode that was left to air. And they have since aired. The supposed last one airing in December or January. But now there's a two hour 'Season Finale'? When did this happen?! Also... if the show was cancelled, why is it considered a season finale as opposed to a series finale? Was it miraculously reborn and I missed the office memo?

Part of me hopes that's the case. The show really had potential, it just seemed to have problems finding its footing. Besides, it had Mia Sara in it. As Harley Quinn, no less. How cool is that? I'll definitely watch the 'event'.

Speaking of WB... aaawwwwww @ Pacey and Joey making kissy faces!! Yeah... I watch the Creek. So what. I've watched it from the beginning. It may be rather contrived lately, but it's the last season, so I'm not giving up on it. I'm gonna see this thing through... So there. :-P
