Okay, so, Buffyverse thing... There's now like a million slayers, instead of just potentials. I think a good majority of people are thinking "yay, constant vampire slaying, the world is safe". But honestly, how many of those pissed off girls are going to use their powers for good instead of selfish reasons? Especially without having a Watcher around to instruct them. How many of them will end up just like Faith, and realize they've got extraordinary power on so many levels and abuse said power?

"Want. Take. Have."

Any spin-off or movie that may take place could really run on the idea of having to straighten these rogue slayers. The Watcher's council would be fully reinstated - or reestablished, since everyone died - particularly the 'special' division that was sent to take care of Faith in This Year's Girl and Who Are You?. As it stands, they can touch on this with Angel. Joss has already said there will be some part of the new slayer expansion at least mentioned on the show. The world is now heavily populated with slayers and Angel is running a demon law firm; I think it's highly likely he'll encounter at least one slayer that's offing his clients, if not a group of them. They could be similar to Gunn's old gang, only with uberstrength.

In the event that Tru Calling flops, I think Eliza should reconsider the Faith show. The premise they had with that show - Faith traveling while fighting evil - could so easily tie in to this rampant slayers theory. And Faith would certainly be the one to kick their asses and have no problem with it. They would need it, afterall. They're the bad guys and she's striving for this good girl thing. She'd be like Spike when he realized even though the chip stops him from hurting humans, he can hurt demons. He was elated to be able to fight again. I could just imagine her with this huge, cheesy, almost sadistic grin on her face as she cuts the slayers down to size, knowing that it's the right thing at that. Also, she's been where they are. She understands. She'd be the one most capable of knowing what it would take to stop them.

Story-a-week, oneshots. Very Quantum Leapish, without the time traveling.

She could find out about these rogue slayers from Willow using locator spells or Giles hearing reports from the Watcher's Council, or the rest of the Scooby gang. Which would also allow openings for cameos. They could meet up in certain cities or just be heard on screen when giving details. And that wouldn't have to be every episode either. They could give her a rough idea of where a few slayers are, then we don't hear from them in awhile. Or there's the luxury of email. Cyber-cafes are all over the place, so she could stop in at one of those to correspond with the group. We see the text and names, but the actors don't have to get involved.

Any continuing story arcs could range from demon chases to family drama. We've never seen Faith's family, but I think it's been implied that they're shitty. Dysfunctional and drama heavy. And, well, she did break out of prison. I don't think they're going to just let that slide, so she'll have police or bounty hunters to contend with as well. Maybe there's some uberdemon that she can't fight on her own, so she's running from it as well as the law, and at the end of that arc all the slayers that she's helped along the way team up to help her defeat the Big Bad. There's also the little things, like having to worry about money to eat and get gas for her motorcycle. Plus any repairs. She could be like Xander in the first episode of season four, when he's telling Buffy about stripping, without actually telling her. Faith would have to make stops in towns just to earn some money and be on her way again.

I think too much about this stuff. I need a real life.
