Quick Vday Update February 15, 2004 - 4:24 p.m.

It was nice just being able to go out last night. We spent several hours wandering around Best Buy and each paid $30 for stuff. Luckily, we had two $25 gift cards, or it would have been a lot higher. He got three anime DVDs and a cd and I finally got my season five Buffy boxset!

It was after eight when we finally left Best Buy and he was asking what I wanted for dinner. He wouldn't let me cook anything. But I wouldn't let him pay for an expensive meal. So he talked me into going to see a movie and we got pizza there. At the brand spanking new, super nice theater really close by. They even have a bar inside. And the seats, are just awesome. They rock, the arms can be pushed up, and they have really high backs with a headrest. Super comfy, too.

We intended to finally see Return of the King, but we were too late for any showings. So we decided to stick around and see something else, picking The Butterfly Effect. Chris and I both thought it was very good and I found myself laughing a lot. Also, we saw the full trailer for Hellboy, which looks amazing. Then we came home and both fell asleep, which is unlike either of us.

And now, I've got to go get ready because Becky's picking me up in about an hour or so, and I haven't even gotten my clothes together.
