Thanksgiving November 29, 2003 - 1:02 a.m.

I've had very little sleep in the past few days and despite how much I try to sleep and feel rested, my eyes feel achy and puffy. Constantly watering. But I don't have a cold or anything.

Thanksgiving was lame. It didn't feel like any other day at all. We were told one family would be eating at a certain time, but ended up sitting around for over two hours before having to go to the next family event, without eating. Good thing the other family had plenty of food, and ready when we got there. The food may have been ready but we had to deal with the constant 'When are you getting married?' remarks. It was obvious they were saying it just to pick on us though.

So Chris and I told them that we were going to conveniently break up next Christmas morning, before he goes there for dinner, so that we won't have to deal with the marriage talk next time. Then reconcile afterwards. Our plan probably isn't as effective, having told them about it ahead of time.

Tonight I had my mom come over and I made Pork Chops with vegetables and we watched The Italian Job.

That, and reading The Da Vinci Code - I haven't been up to much of anything.

I could do the typical list of what I may be thankful for, but I don't think there's any differences from last year's.
