My Sweety's Day Off June 26, 2003 - 9:31 a.m.

When Chris came home from work yesterday he told me he had the next day off work. As I know they're swamped right now and can't spare any people I gave him the 'Whatchu talkin' about, Willis' look, until he explained that he was suspended for the day. Seems he's had too many unscheduled tardies and absences within a certain time period and they had to reprimand him for it. After today's break, he's on a ninety day probation. But he was told that had he been any other person that worked for them, this would have been the death nail to his employment there. Anyone else would have received the 'We're sorry, but we have to let you go' speech. He's saved their asses soooo many times, that they'd be stupid to let something this small force out their best employee.

Then he sat down and we read Harry Potter together.

Today, I can assume that we'll be doing the same thing, while throwing in some laundry and food, and maybe a little tv because Ren and Stimpy is supposed to come on tonight. Yay for TNN and their new cartoons!

And now I'm going to go back to reading Harry Potter, because Chris should be up soon, and with me being a slower reader, he'll be caught up to me in no time. And I want to stay at least a chapter ahead, cause I'm cruel and silly like that. No other reason.
