Simple Solutions June 14, 2003 - 9:05 a.m.

So... looks like I can't wear my contacts when playing video games of the 3-D walk around variety. This is a very good thing to know, though somewhat inconvenient. I wonder if other people have this problem.

I spent the past two hour playing Buffy with only the vaguest hint of nausea. I went through the last of the Bronze, the train yard, and the cemetary. I fought Scylla, the biker slut vamp, with no problems at all. She was total cake. I just got the spiffy water gun that shoots both holy water and hellfire, a Xander exclusive, and will be heading to the secret passage under the cemetary, which will eventually lead to the sunken church. There's still lots to go after that, but I'm just very elated to simply be able to play. I'm glad my only problem was the contacts, but I still find it rather strange.

Now I'm gonna stop playing for a little while and watch some cartoons and maybe my Buffy dvds before Chris gets home.
