Reclaim Your Spontaneity September 08, 2003 - 3:35 p.m.

The steady rise in gas prices has severely disrupted the spontaneous whim of the average person.

I think a letter is in order.

Dear Gas People,

Please stop being jackasses and stop doing whatever it is that you are doing that creates these insane spikes in price per gallon. Get your head out of your ass and stop being greedy. You are killing would-be adventures. Because of you, people are becoming more boring than ever before. You should do something creative as well as lowering prices, like give away a lollipop with each gallon. Give people a reason to get out of their houses!

Dear Creators of Electric Cars,

Who guys rock! You're helping the enviroment as well as feeding into the spontaneity that so many people are lacking these days by eliminating the high cost of travel. Thank you. My only suggestion; we need more electric cars. Get working on that.
