Cowboys and Dreams August 15, 2003 - 9:57 a.m.

For someone who doesn't like country music, country concerts and the people that attend them can be very annoying.

Especially when you're having to scan the tickets, stamp both their hand and tickets, and deal with an extremely painful back at the same time. As well as the fact that almost everyone was drinking, so you were dealing with drunk people and spilled beers all through the night.

This was work last night.

The only redeeming factor was being able to visit my favorite place again.

Dreamland.

I seem to be spending a lot of time there lately. But that's okay, because everything is dandy. Sunshine and roses. Lollipops and rainbows. Two hours of rain, every day. Once in the early morning, again shortly before sunset. Or whenever I deem worthy of rain. The video store has every movie available. The library, every book on the shelf. Every kind of food tastes great. There are pillow forts that don't collapse and tents made out of Duck Tales sheets that the tallest person could stand up in. And, ya know what, every freaking chair or couch or whatever you wanna sit on, is way comfortable.

It really is a fantastic place.

Maybe I'll just move there.
