Death of Quotes February 20, 2003 - 6:21 a.m. Quotes is dying. We should hold a funeral. But then again, the only people that would attend are people that would bitch about the wrong colour flowers and placement of the coffin, while the people that actually care would sit silently in the corner. I think a temporary departure is in order. At least until all the shit dies down. Obviously, there will only be more of it later, but the latest has just gone too far. When I made a comment in the room earlier, someone responded with the remark 'Too cliquey for you'. My response was simply 'too high schooly'. Cliques are normal. They happen with no planning at all. People just bond with other people like them. It's a fact of society. I don't have a single problem with cliques. Some people get along, some people don't. I do have a problem with people being bitchy about every little thing. People making fun of other people for not thinking in the exact same way. People whining about the smallest fucking things. People thinking they are superior to everyone else. People who are too close-minded to see both sides to an argument. People who don't listen to or even care about other people's feelings. People constantly talking about other people, mostly behind their backs. Instead of wasting my time in Quotes or reading that crap that's been splattered all over the MBs, I'd much rather read various Diaryland teenage angst 'boo hoo I broke a nail' bullshit. It's far superior to the crap we've been subjected to lately.
