So the yayness of the new Ren and Stimpy wasn't really full of yay at all. It was pretty disappointing. Seems they should have stuck to the idea of subtle adult humour while making the show acceptable for child viewing. Last night's episode seemed to be nothing other than gay jokes and ass humour. Like people have said about Kevin Smith's movies, a bunch of 'dick and fart jokes'. All of the jokes that weren't based on the idea that Ren and Stimpy were butt buddies had to do with anything one could consider disgusting, mostly bodily fluids of all kinds. There seemed to be no actual humour. I'm sure I'll watch again next week, just to see if they've managed to do something different with the show. Though I'm doubting that will happen.

I'm about 3/4 of the way done with Harry Potter. I'd probably be farther along if it weren't for these shitty headaches and now some weird flu-like symptoms. But the book is quite groovy so far and soooo much has happened. I think just about every prominent character we've ever read about in the past four books have at least been mentioned in this book, if not shown up. I haven't gotten to the part where someone is supposed to die, and I have no idea who it's going to be. But there are a couple of times that you're reading and thinking.. 'Oh! This person is gonna bite it!'. Also, Harry's been a whiny, tempermental ass this year. Now, I know part of it has to do with his age; being fifteen, you're supposed to act out; but I also think there's something magical behind his emotions and attitudes.

And I'll stop talking about Potter, 'cause I know there are probably a few people that haven't read it yet and don't want anything spoiled.
