Another Delay December 26, 2002 - 1:30 p.m.

My mom ended up not coming by until around ten or eleven in the evening last night. This, as opposed to her promised time of 'noonish'.

Another delay.

Am I surprised?

Not in the slightest.

But she loved all of the gifts I gave her. - (Billy Jack boxed set DVDs, Stand and Deliver DVD, two Hootie and the Blowfish CD's {she's a nerd}, two books about dreams that she's been wanting, some lotion because she doesn't have any of 'her own', and a nice necklace and earrings. plus a stocking full of chocolate.) -

In fact, I think she felt very guilty for not being able to get me anything this year.

That's nothing new. At least she had a completely valid excuse this time.
