Make that three days late.

She called and gave me some lame excuse as to why she couldn't come get me. Even though the van is working just fine and she has no plans.

So Chris is going to drop me off on his way into work.

Now, when I say 'drop me off', I don't want to fool you into thinking my house is on his way to work. In fact, he has to drive nearly the full length of two of the busiest streets in our city. And that's just to get onto the highway. Whereas if he leaves from here, the highway is only about 2 minutes from his house. So, yeah, it's an inconvenience.

Yet he never complains.
