This cruise sounds so incredibly amazing!!!

I've always wanted to go on a cruise. And to have one that's a week long convention for Buffy nerds... that's awesome! Although I think they need more guests. Maybe the Troika and have Common Rotation performances. Nick Brendan and Tony Head would be cool too. So would Alyson Hannigan, but she'll likely be filming her new series. Some more Angel people, like Amy Acker and Mercedes McNab would be good. Maybe get some writers, even.

Eh. It's all wishful thinking for an event I won't be attending.

Chris asked for the night off last night, so that we could go to the bars for St. Patrick's Day.

Two bars. I was mostly bored to tears.

I stood around while Chris talked geek, or he and I would make fun of people in the background.

There were moments that weren't so bad. But overall, I wasn't impressed with the whole socializing experience. I'm definitely a stay-at-home or movies-and-dinner kind of person. There are exceptions, as always, but there seem to be even few of those.

Maybe it's just the bar scene itself. Lots of drunks, being loud, lingering smoke. If you're drinking, then cool... you'll fit in. But if you're like me and you don't drink much anymore, then it's not so exciting. Also, if you're the worst conversationalist and just don't know how to talk to people, then that can be a little problematic as well.

I prefer my hermit life.
