It's Gotta be a Toom-ah May 14, 2003 - 4:13 p.m.

I've been feeling pretty shitty lately, healthwise. I woke up the other day hardly able to speak. My throat was, and has been, swollen. At least, that's how it feels. Like the windpipe is closing up. It's hard to swallow, so nearly impossible to eat. I haven't had any nasal issues, but for the five minutes that my nose was running, there was blood coming out of each nostril. I'm thinking that's not a good sign.

Random blood with majorly increased headaches. Yeah, I think I'm dying.

Every form of light, no matter how subtle, has caused me to recoil in pain. Certain sounds, especially particular pitches, have had the same effect. The shape of a light seems to linger behind my eyelids for much longer as well.

My throat feels remotely better, but the headaches aren't relenting.

I can't wait until I finally have health insurance so I can go see a doctor. This is becoming beyond unbearable.

Luckily, Chris will be home soon. Being in pain with someone around is often better than being in pain alone.
