The Brief List November 29, 2002 - 2:37 p.m.

I'm thankful for Chris. He's helped me through more than I could ever say and there's a million and one reasons to be grateful for him.

I'm thankful for my puppies and kitties. They keep me grounded and fill my childlike fascinations.

I'm thankful for having a Mom and Dad that are still alive. I may get annoyed, but I'd be lost without them.

I'm thankful for having siblings and other family. No particular reason why. I'm just glad they're there.

I'm thankful for my friends, online and off. For obvious reasons.

I'm thankful for Chris having these luxuries and sharing the use of his computer, cable, shower, washer/dryer, etc. Without which, I think I would officially go insane and stress out like mad.

I'm thankful for my DVD player and DVD collection. Yeah, I'm a geek and these are my treasures.

I'm thankful for my books and the imagination of the people that write them. More geek treasures.

I'm thankful for the times that I can work. Having money helps reduce stress.

I'm thankful for literally the roof over my head. I have two houses that I stay in with this lovely feature. Granted, neither have heat. And one doesn't even have water. A roof and walls are still nice to hide behind.

I'm thankful for the food to fill my tummy. Empty tummies aren't much fun.

I'm thankful for my contacts. Which I finally took out last night, after nearly three weeks of continual wear.

I'm thankful for laughter.

I'm thankful for Buffy and my other shows.

I'm thankful for Reese's Pieces.

(I'm grasping at straws here… I may add more later.)
