My First Friday Five January 02, 2003 - 2:45 a.m.

For those of you that don't know or haven't heard of it, there's a site called Friday Five. What it is, is simply a site designed for 'bloggers', as we're so aptly called, to help with topic ideas and the like.

Every friday, the Friday Five will ask five questions for you to answer in your diary/journal/blog. (Each Friday, they ask Five questions and they're called Friday Five... see what they did there? Clever.)

I've actually known of this site for ages, but I've always been too lazy or whatever to act upon any questions given.

So, being that I can't think of a damn thing to write, I decided to check out Friday Five and possibly use their questions for an entry. As you'll soon see, the most interesting thing about this entry will be the mention and explanation of Friday Five itself, and not my answers to the inquiries.

And yes, I realize it is now technically Thursday so this is actually last weeks Friday Five and there will be a new one up tomorrow. You know what I have to say to that?

Who cares. So there.

1. What was your biggest accomplishment this year?
Sadly enough, I thought getting contacts was my biggest accomplishment. (Though in my world, it really was an accomplishment.) But then I remembered that I started practicing HTML this year and have gotten, what I think to be, pretty decent with it. Then Darth pointed out that I've maintained a successful relationship all year, and that is most definitely a good thing.

2. What was your biggest disappointment?

Not being the first one to recognize my relationship as an accomplishment. hehe Seeing my Mom as a human and not liking her for what she was. That was quite disappointing. No headway being made on the house. We're still without water and eletric in most rooms, and the mess seems to have only increased. Dissappointments are aplenty in day to day life, but I feel these have been my biggest this year.

3. Will you be making any New Year's resolutions?

Only to start exercising and find a consistent job. Oh, and getting a new pair of glasses. That one, I can do.

4. Where will you be at midnight? Do you wish you could be somewhere else?

Well, this question is silly now that the Eve has passed. But originally we thought we would be at a bar or some place with friends, drinking and being obnoxious. I didn't really look forward to this, other than the 'being around other people' part. So I wasn't a bit disappointed when we decided to stay in.

5. Aside from (possibly) staying up late, do you have any other New Year's traditions?

The kiss at midnight if I'm with someone (which I was this year!) and uh.... I think that's it.

See. What'd I tell ya. Bo-ring. Nothing of interest. Move along, move along.
