I'll hire Movers, thank you. August 10, 2002 - 1:51 a.m.

I helped a friend of mine move tonight. Well... I helped her pack some stuff and load it into the cars. She doesn't actually get the apartment until tomorrow afternoon, at which point we get to move LOTS more.

I was some what annoyed with the whole thing because they've known for over a month that they were moving and she said they've been packing for awhile. Yet when we got there, it looked as though nothing had been packed AND she had all of 3 not-so-large boxes to pack everything in. But, I let it slide. I know what it's like to be stressed out about a million things. It's not some horrible tragedy, it's simply that things could have been made easier on us had she planned a little better.

She and I were both annoyed when we were leaving. Basically, we took the guys' word when they said the cars were full. I guess that was really gimp-speak for 'We can fit way more stuff but just don't feel like it'. They could have easily doubled the amount of crap that they loaded.

Our solution was simple.

Declare them as retards and leave.

We were far too tired to move anything else and the house was already locked up...

That was our excuse at the time, anyhow.
