Autumn Fall-Down

Wow... normalcy is slowly creeping in. Last week was premiere week for all the old/new shows. Granted, there isn't really anything spectacular on tv these days, I still enjoy watching various programs. ~ The new Buffy jumped right back into the swing of things, as if there wasn't even an in-between from this season and last. My brain is running all over the place, trying to figure out what exactly is going on with the new villain(s?). ~ Firefly was slightly disappointing. I'll continue watching for now... give it a chance. I think the main reason I wasn't to impressed, is because it seemed to lack character depth. Which is highly shocking considering that's typically Joss Whedon's strong point. That, and the first episode seemed to pack way to much action into it. ~ John Doe rocks hard. I so dig this show. I couldn't sit down and explain exactly why or how... it just rocks. In the middle of the very first episode I told Chris I already wanted the DVD's. Everyone should watch this show. Make it stay, please? ~ And I like that there's a new Twilight Zone. I grew up watching the old one's every week with my mom. The old one's are always classic, but there's something to be said for seeing the same show differently. ~ Haunted is pretty groovy so far. I'll definitely continue to watch it after Buffy. ~ Angel starts Sunday, looking forward to it. As well as Birds of Prey, although it is already starting to look pretty lame. Like they're trying too hard to satisfy the geeks with the comic book tales and the chics with the 'girl power' crap, all in the same show. ~ I also watch Gilmore Girls (yay!), Dawson's Creek (don't laugh), Charmed, Smallville... and yes, even 7th Heaven and Everwood. I'm such a WB whore. Go ahead... you can laugh now. There are other shows that I tape/watch. But they're really of no relevance. They are mostly time fillers because I can't seem to cope without having a tv on, and I may as well watch 'something' while it's on. Even if the 'something' in this case is really 'nothing'.
