I am Evil, Too October 24, 2003 - 2:42 p.m. When Chris got home this morning, he told me to get dressed, because we were going to get breakfast. Eggs, pancakes, sausage, and hot chocolate. It was great. And fully made up for the fact that I didn't eat anything for dinner last night. It's not like I meant to not eat. His friend was over and they were playing Heroes and every time we talked about food, we couldn't decide. So finally I went into the living room where they were, curled up on the recliner behind Chris, and fell asleep. Stayed there until he got ready for work then left, at which point I moved into the bed. Where I stayed, almost soundly, until an hour or so before he got home. Then we went to Walmart and got groceries. Both the fridge and freezer are packed. Mostly drinks in the fridge though. Keep in mind, this is also a very small refrigerator. Not like, mini-fridge small, but still small. Maybe.. 18 cubic feet? He also bought lots of canned stuff, like soup and Very Cherry mixed fruit; all for less than $80. Which was less than his other purchase of the day. A Gameboy Advance SP. Onyx Black. Guess he's not at all worried about money. We've both been dying for one, and since he bought Final Fantasy Tactics Advance not too long ago, he really wanted to be able to play it on a better machine. We're both still annoyed with the fact that we held out on buying a new Gameboy for sooo long, hoping something better would come out - hoping Nintendo would fix the one thing wrong with the then-current handhelds - and when he finally caves and gets me one for Christmas, they make the announcement that a new backlit model is coming out. Figures. So he has a new toy. I'm sure there were better uses of his money, but it was his to spend. At least this is something I get to play with too. And I even mentioned while we were having breakfast how I'd love to have an SP to play my Scooby game, because we have impossible lighting here. So it wasn't a purely selfish purchase. I wanted it just as badly, and it's very possible that by commenting on it, I was the one that convinced him to get it today. It will be used well. 'Cause we are dorks. Now, if only I could find the two existing Buffy Gameboy games. Even if they are crappy. Speaking of games, I completed Syberia and can't wait for Syberia 2 to come out. It was pretty, with lovely music [I want the soundtrack], and a groovy story. Plus, automatons rock.
And the whole confident thing on this one didn't make sense, so I changed a few answers (since I couldn't decide to begin with - ways to spend time, anything but summer, and photographer or writer?) and got this one:
