I'm a Cheater in Less Pain December 18, 2002 - 7:04 a.m.

I've finished most of my shopping this weekend. Once I find out how much money Chris can 'spare', then I'll be able to finish the last little bit I have left.

I found a gift card I still had from last year, so I used the rest of it to buy a present for his mom and another thing for him. That gift card helped out a lot. Yet I have to wonder... would that be like cheating? Using a present someone else had given me?

So my jaw is slowly starting to feel better. It's at its worse after I've woken up. I just woke up.... so I'm kinda sore at the moment. But the pain seems to go down quicker than before.

Eating is a real chore. Mainly now, because I have to chew on the other side of my mouth. I've never really noticed that I always chew on the left side.

I'm hoping any day now, my jaw will be back to normal.

Oh, and as I typed that, I yawned with quite minimal pain.

Things are looking up. hehehe

Chris' dad is doing well. In fact he is going to the hospital in a few hours to pick him up and take him home.

The swelling in his neck went down pretty quickly. Quick enough that he was able to get the ventilization tube thingy out on Sunday.

I'm hungry. Wish me luck with this whole 'chewing' thing.
