And Denial Kicks In May 21, 2003 - 11:47 a.m. Screencaps from the finale. I'm going to download the episode and watch it a thousand times over again. I'm in denial. The show isn't over. No way. It'll be back next year. Yeah. That's it. They'll go to Cleveland and protect the Hellmouth there. They'll develop a league of slayers and a new watcher's council. This time, the council will have to be huge in order to keep track of every single slayer. And hacker Willow will be in charge of maintaining the lengthy database; name, age, location, shoe size, favorite cereal. It's the FBI or CIA for slayers. Yeah.. and Buffy will be cookies and only have to occasionally face evil, mostly in the check out line while buying new shoes. And she'll finally get a real boyfriend who isn't a demon or governmentally altered. Mhmm. Yep. That's what's going to happen next season. On brand new episodes. 'On the next, all new, Buffy the Vampire Slayer...' Smallville's finale was pretty cool. They have him going to Metropolis like he's supposed to. But what about the whole ring thing? Will he be back when and if he takes it off? Will he finally fly next season? How's Lex going to survive without Clark there to save him? These questions aside, I think it's really awesome that next season, the show will precede Angel. A full Wednesday night of valiantly heroic goodness. Chris and I will watch Gilmore Girls later tonight. Rory graduates! Aawwww! I think I should go back to sleep.
