Mr Bling, the Jackass December 16, 2003 - 12:48 p.m. Oh, I forgot to mention the moment of funny while we were at the mall yesterday. Chris and I had seperated so we could buy gifts for each other without the other seeing. Bad thing is, we both shop in the same stores, so we kept running into each other. I purposefully went into other stores that I knew he wasn't going to, just so he could get a head start. This, by the way, is when I saw a Velma Skipper that I really wanted. Earlier in the day at Pet Shop Comics, I saw the Shaggy Ken. Fred is somewhere out there, and I have Daphne already. Got her last year. Despite this delay, we still managed to bump into each other again when he was leaving a store that I was going into. I had already decided I was done with the mall, but I figured I would check out a few stores before heading back to the Food Court, to give him time to complete his shopping. But he decided he was finished as well, so we both started to the car. Typical walking, talking, laughing, and torturing with gift clues. And then we saw it. A group of kids, maybe around ten of them. Most wearing all black, but not goth-like. They may have been around sixteen years old. Nothing unusual at a mall. But one kid, a guy standing right in the middle, stuck out. He walked while kind of leaning backwards and his head leaning back as well. He had on a tobogan or hoody over his head, with big Risky Business sunglasses. And the part that caught our attention... the silver necklace with a HUGE silver dollar sign. There was more 'jewelry' that weighted him down, almost like Mr. T. I think we both could picture him getting dressed in front of the mirror and saying 'Bling Bling' while posing. He may as well have put a clock around his neck. We almost fell on the floor laughing, right there.
