Birthday 2002-02-05 - 3:04 p.m.

I haven't thought of this thing as a crutch yet, or else I would have written sooner... I'm sure the time will come when that happens.

My birthday was exactly one week ago today. I got the Buffy boxset, finally!! And Chris made a really nice dinner. Salad, Spaghetti, and I made the garlic bread. My brother sent me a really nice card with work by Monet on the cover and a $25 Best Buy gift card inside. Dad and Gail sent me some nice pajamas and a Scooby tin that had gloves and earmuffs. She said they have something else to send later... I'm thinking it's a DVD. May be wrong, but I doubt it. Got a nice card from my grandpa, and Dark made me a really cool banner. Last night, Mom took Chris and I out to eat at Outback. Good food, and the waitress was really nice. She brought me ice cream, just because she overheard it was my birthday. Then mom took me to Walmart and bought me a few things. (Oh, she also gave me a makeup kit as a present.) $10 pair of boots... Knee high, zip-up, decorative buckle on the ankle, fat clunky heels! They're great. Then she also got a knitting and crocheting kit, cause I've always wanted to learn how to do both. I haven't started either, just yet... but I plan to do so soon.

So that was the extent of my birthday. Now, I think I'm going back to sleep...
