Super Bored Duo July 23, 2003 - 8:17 a.m.

Hey, imagine this. Four hours of work last night, full of complete uselessness. That never happens with this job.. no, never. Only every single time.

They put my mom and I at one entrance area. With our powers combined, we became...... Super Bored Duo!! Oh, I mean, with our count combined, we had only nine people come through our doors. Two people on the doors, four hours of 'work', and only nine people to take tickets from. Yeah, it was really worth having us there, huh?

I only took four of those tickets. One was while my mom went on a quick break, and the other three occurred because my mom asked a group of boys to go through my door, simply so I would have a count on my turnstile.

I'm not complaining about doing nothing at work. I'm just fine with the idea of being paid to stand there like an idiot. I just think it's stupid on their behalf, therefore I feel the need to complain about it. Stupidity is always a good excuse for complaints. Want a reason to rant? There are plenty of stupid people or groups in the world, just pick one.

Four hours of nothingness, then she brought me back here, to Chris' house.

And that was my incredibly exciting, in a not so exciting way, day.

I slept, at the most, three and a half hours last night. Yet at three this morning, I woke up as if I'd slept all day long. Not feeling tired in the slightest bit. As it was stupid to just lie there knowing I wouldn't be able to go back to sleep, I got up and did the smart thing. Turned on the computer and started playing Neopets games. But I think now, five hours later, the whole tired deal is catching up with me. I think a nap may be in order soon.

I'm addicted to sleep.
