Gift Card Goodness February 09, 2003 - 6:06 a.m. We actually went out last night. That's so not like us. We went to Best Buy and wandered around for an hour or so. Chris got four cds; Loudermilk, Ash, The Donna's, and Tatu [I'm responsible for the first two]; and I picked up two dvds. The Boondock Saints and Tank Girl. All of which only cost $40 out of wallet. I almost got the Buffy movie. I've been wanting it for ages. Since it came out in theaters. But I wasn't going to pay that price. Call me frugal, but I could get it for at least $3 less by ordering it online somewhere. If you think about it, by saving money that way it's almost like getting every sixth or so movie for free. Just disregard my feminine logic. Also, I realized tonight that the Buffy movie started my love of combat boots. It was after that movie that I finally got my first pair of boots. And I haven't been without them since. That and the whole wearing combat boots with a nice dress and leather jacket. I used to do that all the time. Now I rarely get dressed at all. If we go anywhere, I just throw on a pair of jeans and a t-shirt. Like my 'You smell like butt' shirt that I wore tonight. While meeting some of Chris' family for the first time. Not that I really care... I'm not big on physical impressions. We got to eat at a new restaurant. New for us, that is. Uno's. Pizzas and pastas and spicy foods. They had a buffalo chicken quesadilla that's enough to make Chris and I go back on Wednesday, when they're half price. Those things are soooo incredibly good. And here I am, rambling inanely, yet again. I need sleep. And a real life with opinions. Now listening to: "Like a game of pick-up-sticks played by fucking lunatics" ~ Tatu - Show Me Love ~
