Escape Degredation January 30, 2003 - 1:22 p.m.

My brother called last night to wish my a Happy Birthday. As I wasn't home, I didn't have to talk to him. Which I have absolutely no problem with, at the moment. But.. he left a message for me to call him. Which he never does.

I know he wants me to call so that he can bitch me out for being a loser.

I'm sorry. But I'm not going to charge another long distance call to our phone bill, just to have my brother make me feel like even more shit.

I think I'll simply email him. Tell him Mom gave me the message and thanks for the birthday wishes. And leave it at that.

If the bastard wants to berate me, then he can take the trouble to type it out. Maybe seeing the words will make him realize how bad it actually sounds.

Most likely not.

Dick.

I wouldn't mind so much if he tried to encourage me. If he chose his words differently, it wouldn't seem so harsh. It's just the way he says things... and with so much anger. He's already caused me to have one anxiety attack this week, I won't allow him to succeed in a second.

So anyhow, my birthday was nice. Chris made spaghetti dinner with chicken and a nice salad. Then we had some birthday cake. But no ice cream. We both ate too much. We'll have some tonight though. We watched Angel, which completely rocked! I was starting to get disappointed in this episode. The uber-demon died too soon. We were calling Cordy a dumb bitch, because she knew what would happen.... And it was almost over and we thought the trailers were deceiving us and he would not in fact turn into Angelus. But all was made right in the last minute. So I'm a happy girl.

My Dad and Step-mom each sent me an ecard. All the people I care about in Quotes, plus some, wished me a Happy Birthday. I even got a banner that mixed Scooby Doo and Silent Hill! Sometime this weekend, my mom and I will do something. Something meaning nothing, as neither of us has any money.

And my Buffy graphic novel is so awesome. One of the stories in it includes a gift that Oz gave Willow. A 'hooligan' steals the pez-witch. Ethan Rayne was involved, if that answers anything.

Also... I slept nearly 12 hours today. Yet I still feel unbelievably tired.
