A World of Almosts November 07, 2003 - 11:09 p.m.

We bought groceries this morning. Chris got Finding Nemo, I almost got a copy for myself. Ultimately, I decided to wait because it's likely that my step-mom will send it to me. Otherwise, I'll regret not getting it while Walmart had it for only fifteen bucks. They also had Angel: Season Two, but that wasn't even an option considering the shitty security things attached. The way it was strapped on, was like ribbon and a big bow. And the 'ribbon', which was like plastic cording, was cutting into the case. So the case was all kinds of dented. I'm picky about that stuff, so screw them, I'll go elsewhere.

Yeah, fuck you Walmart!

We almost picked up The Sims: Makin' Magic, but opted to put it back and see if we can get it cheaper at Best Buy with the groovy coupon we got in the mail. Or just hold off altogether. I don't have Superstar yet, and it's not like I play all too often, so it's not incredibly important. And despite the release of The Sims 2 next year, I'd still like to get the rest of the expansions for this one. Besides, I don't know that I'll have the system requirements for the next generation anyhow.

Then we left, I made some comment about having too many things on my wishlist, Chris agreed and was saying some other shit that made me cry in the long run. Typical 'I feel useless' crap.

I pointed out that there's actually only around ten things that are on my 'I'm dying to own' list - mostly books and a few movies - and I haven't bought much of anything for myself in a really long time. Mainly because I've put all my money into his account, and he's spent it. But that didn't help the other typical stuff that bothers me on a daily basis. And he didn't say anything hurtful, it's just that I didn't need to be reminded of why I suck. And instead of being concerned with one thing, he mentioned most of my many issues. So it was suddenly even more overwhelming and caused an intense headache.

Blah blah blah. Took a nap. Blah blah blah. Made dinner. Blah blah blah. Watched tv. Blah blah blah. Still tired.

I'm bored.

Matrix Reloaded bored.

"I may be dead, but I'm still pretty." -- Buffy; Season 1, 'Prophecy Girl' -- You're strong, determined, and not willing to let anything make you admit defeat. You believe you can do anything, and with that kind of attitude, you probably can. Yay you!

Which Buffy The Vampire Slayer quote are you?
