Add to the Wishlist November 06, 2002 - 7:13 p.m. We woke up early (around noon) with the sole intention of going to the mall. There wasn't anything in particular that we wanted to get. We weren't going to meet any friends. We hadn't even considered the fun of insulting random people. We simply needed to get out. You see, the two of us are very lazy individuals. If it were possible, we would spend every single moment (waking and otherwise) sitting around the house. Work at home. Have groceries and other material needs delivered home. All outer transactions would take place through mail, phone, computer, or friends that come here. Honestly, I think my reasoning revolves more around fear/hate of the creeps in society. I'm not denying that I'm lazy... because I'm certainly that. I just think there's more to things than one simple reason. It was nice to get out. Just walk around. We looked at soooo much stuff. I got lots of Christmas ideas. Both for myself and for others. Mostly for Chris. Tons of books that I want. An endless amount of movies. (surprise) A tarot deck. And other little things that I don't need but would still be oh-so-happy to have. Oh, and I picked up the Scooby Doo Barbie. I'm such a dork. But he got the third disc in the Excel Saga. His new favorite anime. It rocks. Pretty damn funny (fucked up) stuff. We then hit Big Choice Comics. So many lovely things. So little money. But I did get 4 new Scooby comics and a couple WB posters. The posters were free. And I saw a Vertigo tarot deck. Artwork done by Neil Gaiman, the same guy that does Sandman. It's towards the top of my Christmas wishlist. I've wanted a tarot deck for ages. I noticed while we were there, that there are actually quite a few comics that I'd love to start reading. If I could afford to pick up another addiction, that is. And I'm not talking the mainstream stuff like X-Men, Spider-man and Batman. Although I would like to get all the Kabuki comics. But I like the smaller, more obscure, strange stuff. No, I can't think of any titles offhand. I simply saw them and thought 'cool'. Barbie's. Comics. Free Posters. Time with my sweety. All in all, it's been a good day. Off to home with me tomorrow. *cries*
