Boredom 2001-08-05 - 5:21 p.m.

The puter's being uber slow, so I can't waste any pointless time on my Neopets. I don't feel like watching a movie.

Bleah.

Nothing productive comes to mind. I'm not really in the mindset to read. I finished Anne Rice's 'Merrick' yesterday. Good stuff. The ending threw me off a bit. (Won't say why, I don't want to spoil it for any future readers)

This was my first Anne Rice book to read. Not bad. I think her and Stephen King have the same basic style, as far as filling in a LOT of the back story. Sometimes it's imperative to the plot. Other times it's just lame. Don't get me wrong, the stories are great, many times brilliant. They just have their lulls. That's a given with just about any book, I guess. Getting ready to read The Halloween Man. I can't recall the author at the moment. After that, I will FINALLY read The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings Trilogy

I'm restless. I can't sit still, but I'm to damned lazy to get up and do anything. Not to mention the heat! Jesus fucking christ... I hate the heat!!! I could stick my pinky out the window, and the skin would melt off. Not that I would mind, I guess of all the fingers to lose, that one would be of the least value.

Ugh. Gonna go find SOMETHING to do......
